CRO & Shopify growth

Remove the friction that stops qualified visitors buying. We combine behavioural evidence, commercial prioritisation and Shopify implementation so recommendations actually reach customers.

Built for

Shopify and ecommerce teams with qualified traffic, a measurable purchase journey and the ability to release changes in small, controlled increments.

Not the right starting point when

A poor fit when the underlying offer has not converted anywhere yet or when every decision must be a full redesign before customer evidence can be collected.

Where growth gets stuck

The problems this work is designed to solve.

01

Traffic grows but orders do not

Acquisition exposes unclear value, weak product proof or a journey that makes comparison and purchase difficult.

02

The theme limits improvement

App bloat, inherited templates and fragile custom code turn simple commercial changes into technical projects.

03

Ideas are not evidence

Teams debate design preferences without customer research, funnel data or a defined success measure.

What is included

A practical system, not disconnected activity.

01

Conversion research

Analytics, recordings, surveys, reviews, support themes and heuristic review combined into evidence.

02

Prioritised opportunity backlog

Hypotheses scored by likely impact, confidence, effort and dependency.

03

Product and collection journeys

Merchandising, search, filters, product value, proof, comparison and cross-sell improvements.

04

Shopify implementation

Theme sections, templates, speed work, app rationalisation and quality-assured releases.

05

Experiment design

A/B tests where traffic supports them and structured before/after measurement where it does not.

06

Launch and migration control

Analytics, redirects, accessibility and performance checked before releases go live.

Delivery expectations

Know what happens before judging the work.

These are working expectations, not performance promises. Access, implementation capacity, data volume and buying cycles affect the pace.

First 10–15 working days

Research themes and a prioritised opportunity backlog after data and theme access

One release or test cycle

The first useful evidence point; statistical testing time depends on traffic and conversion volume

Fortnightly release rhythm

Small, quality-assured changes where the stack and approval process support it

Inputs required from your team

The work moves when access and decisions move.

  • Shopify, analytics, theme and relevant research-tool access
  • Customer reviews, support themes, returns and merchandising context
  • Brand, accessibility and technical constraints
  • A product owner able to approve hypotheses and releases
Boundaries agreed in writing

No important responsibility is left implied.

  • Theme licences, paid apps, specialist integrations and third-party fees are approved separately.
  • A/B testing is used only when traffic supports a defensible read; lower-volume stores use research-led releases.
  • Major migrations, brand redesign and ongoing CRO are separate delivery shapes with their own acceptance criteria.
How the work moves

From evidence to repeatable improvement.

Every engagement starts with the current commercial reality. The channel comes after the diagnosis.

  1. 1

    Find the friction

Combine behavioural data and customer language to locate the highest-confidence problems.

  2. 2

    Model the opportunity

Estimate the commercial upside and define the metric that should move.

  3. 3

    Design and implement

Prototype, review and ship in small, quality-assured releases.

  4. 4

    Learn and iterate

Measure the outcome, record the learning and update the backlog.

A strong fit when

This is likely to be useful if…

  • You already pay for traffic and need more value from it.
  • Your Shopify theme is slow, inflexible or overloaded with apps.
  • Product pages are not communicating value or proof clearly.
  • You want an ongoing experimentation partner or a focused redesign.

Pricing

Understand the work first. Price it properly second.

We do not use a public rate card. We start with a consultation to understand the commercial goal, current setup, platform, data and delivery requirements. If there is a strong fit, you receive a clear written scope and price before deciding whether to proceed.

Questions

What brands usually ask.

Do you build complete Shopify stores?

Yes. We support focused theme improvements, redesigns and full Shopify builds. The scope starts with the business and migration requirements rather than a fixed design package.

Do we have enough traffic for A/B testing?

Not every store does. Where volume is insufficient, we use customer research, funnel evidence and carefully measured releases rather than manufacture false statistical confidence.

Can you improve site speed?

Yes. We review theme code, third-party scripts, apps, images and rendering behaviour, then prioritise changes by user and commercial impact.

Will conversion changes hurt SEO?

SEO, accessibility and measurement are part of release QA. Major content or URL changes are mapped before implementation.

Can we start with a focused first phase?

Yes. When the full delivery scope is not yet clear, the first engagement can be a defined audit, roadmap or implementation phase with its own outputs and decision point. Ongoing work is recommended only when the evidence supports it.

What if the diagnosis points outside this service?

We will say so. The consultation considers acquisition, conversion, retention and measurement together. The proposal should be the smallest useful scope for the current constraint, even when that means starting elsewhere or not working together yet.

How much does this service cost?

We price every engagement after an initial consultation. The right scope depends on your current setup, goals, data quality, platform complexity and who will implement the work. Once those are clear, we provide a written scope and price before anything begins.
