Repeated terms can be completely natural. Read the surrounding sentences, remove forced wording and make sure the page answers the reader’s actual question. There is no universal ideal density.

What keyword density means

Keyword density is the number of times a word or phrase appears relative to the total word count. It can expose accidental repetition, but a percentage cannot tell you whether a page is accurate, original, trustworthy or useful.

Use it for ecommerce product and category content

Paste a product description, collection introduction or buying guide when you want to spot repeated wording before publication. The checker is most useful as one step in a human edit—not as a score to optimise. For the wider structure, technical controls and commercial search plan, see our ecommerce SEO service and Shopify SEO checklist.

How to use the result

  1. Check that the primary topic is clear in the title, introduction and relevant headings.
  2. Review repeated terms in context rather than replacing every occurrence.
  3. Use precise related language where it improves the explanation.
  4. Compare the draft with the searcher’s question and the decision the page should support.
  5. Finish with a human edit for clarity, evidence and unnecessary claims.

What this checker does not do

It does not grade search quality, predict rankings or recommend keyword stuffing. For ecommerce sites, technical indexation, internal linking, category usefulness, product information and authority frequently matter more than a repeated phrase.
